Track Intelligence for Serato DJ Pro

Know every track like you've already played it.

BPM and key tell you what a track is. Track Intelligence tells you what it does: full-audio analysis scores energy, danceability, vocal presence and peak-time suitability for every track in your Serato library, so you pick records on data instead of memory.

The signals

Four things BPM and key can't tell you.

Serato's analysis stops at tempo and key. Track Intelligence listens to the whole waveform and scores what actually decides whether a record works tonight:

Energy

How hard it hits

A 1-to-10 intensity score from the audio itself. Sort any crate by energy and watch your library arrange itself into warm-up, build and peak.

Danceability

How it moves a floor

Rhythmic drive and groove, scored. High danceability at moderate energy is exactly the record a 10pm floor needs.

Vocals

What's on top of the beat

Vocal presence detection separates instrumentals, vocal tracks and everything between, so acapella clashes stop happening by accident.

Peak time

When to play it

Every track gets a suitability read, peak-time weapon or builder, so the right record surfaces at the right hour.

In the browser

Intelligence where you actually browse.

Scores are not buried in a report. Energy, plays and ratings sit inline in the crate browser next to BPM, Camelot key and cues, sortable and searchable across the whole library, with a spectral preview player one click away.

How it works

From audio to insight in three steps.

  1. Point it at your libraryCrate Cleaner reads your Serato DJ Pro database and lines up unanalyzed tracks. Nothing in your files or database is modified.
  2. Run the analysisFull-audio profiling runs in background batches: energy, danceability, vocal presence and peak-time suitability for each track.
  3. Sort, build, playScores land in the crate browser and power Smart Crate energy arcs, so the intelligence shows up in the sets you walk in with.

FAQ

Questions DJs ask about track analysis.

What does Track Intelligence actually analyze?
It runs full-audio analysis on each track and profiles energy, danceability, vocal presence and peak-time suitability, alongside the BPM and key data your library already has. The results show up as sortable columns and feed Smart Crate building.
How is energy different from BPM?
BPM is tempo; energy is intensity. A 174 BPM liquid roller can feel calmer than a 100 BPM peak-hour anthem. Energy scores what a track does to a room, which is why sets built on energy arcs flow better than sets built on tempo alone.
Do I have to analyze my whole library at once?
No. Analysis runs in the background in batches, and you can analyze a single track on demand from the browser. Progress and coverage stats show exactly how much of the library is done and what is pending.
Does analysis change my files or my Serato database?
No. Intelligence results are stored in Crate Cleaner's own database. Your audio files and Serato library are not modified by analysis.
Which plan includes Track Intelligence?
Full Track Intelligence is a Studio feature. The free trial and Pro include a partial view, so you can see the analysis on part of your library before upgrading.
