FAQ

Questions DJs ask about Smart Crates.

Does building a Smart Crate change my Serato library?
No. Smart Crates are built inside Crate Cleaner from a read-only view of your library. Nothing touches Serato until you click Export, and exports are only written while Serato is closed.
What do the transition labels mean?
Every consecutive pair of tracks is labeled with why it works: Perfect for same-key blends, Smooth for adjacent Camelot moves, Lift +1 for an energy step up, and honest warnings like BPM Jump or Wheel Reset where the build had to change gear. You see the whole set's character before the gig, not during it.
Can I keep certain tracks in place and rebuild around them?
Yes. Lock any track and rebuilds or swaps happen around it. Locks are how you pin an opener, a peak record or a guaranteed closer while the rest of the set stays rule-driven.
Where does the energy data come from?
Energy comes from Crate Cleaner's own track analysis, alongside the BPM and key data read from your Serato library. Tracks without energy analysed yet can still be sequenced on BPM and key, and the energy arc gets sharper as analysis coverage grows.
Which plan includes Smart Crates?
