Connect Spotify, pick a playlist, and Crate Cleaner matches every track against the files you already own. Confident matches build a Serato crate with BPM, key, cues and waveforms already in place. The rest become a shopping list. No audio is ever downloaded.

Your account, read-only.
Sign in through Spotify's own secure login. Crate Cleaner reads your playlists and Liked Songs, and nothing else. It never plays, downloads or changes a single track, on Spotify or on disk.
Match
Every track, found in your own library.
Crate Cleaner compares each streaming track to the files you own on title, artist and duration, then scores the match. Playlists show at a glance which are up to date and which changed since your last import.
Versions
It knows a clean edit from the original.
Radio edit, clean, extended, remix: Crate Cleaner treats each as a different song. Confident matches import automatically, borderline ones wait in a review queue for your call, and your confirm and reject decisions stick the next time you import.
Version aware: clean, extended and remix tokens are matched explicitly, never glossed over
Confidence tiers: auto-accept the certain, review the borderline, list the rest as missing
Duration corroborated so near-identical titles do not collide
Decisions persist: what you confirm or reject is remembered across re-imports
The gap list
The tracks you don't own yet, in one place.
Anything with no confident match becomes a shopping list instead of a silent failure. Copy it to the clipboard or open each track in Spotify, so you know exactly what to buy before the gig.
How it works
Playlist to crate in three steps.
The whole flow runs against a read-only view of your library. Nothing is written to Serato until you export, and exports only happen while Serato is closed.
Connect SpotifySign in with Spotify's secure login. Crate Cleaner reads your playlists and Liked Songs only.
Match your libraryEach track is scored against the files you own. Confirm the borderline matches, leave the rest on the gap list.
Export to SeratoOne click writes a real Serato crate with BPM, key, cues and waveforms already in place.
FAQ
Questions DJs ask.
Does Crate Cleaner download music from Spotify?
No. It reads playlist metadata only: titles, artists and durations. It never downloads, streams or stores audio from Spotify. Every track it adds to a crate is a file you already own on disk.
Will importing change my Serato library?
Not until you export. Matching happens inside Crate Cleaner against a read-only view of your library. A Serato crate is only written when you click Export, and only while Serato is closed.
What happens to tracks I don't own?
They go on a missing list rather than being dropped silently. You can copy the list or open each track in Spotify, so the gap becomes a shopping list you can act on.
Does it handle remixes and clean edits correctly?
Yes. Version tokens like clean, extended and remix are matched explicitly, so the radio edit does not land in a crate where you wanted the extended mix. Anything ambiguous is held for review.
Which streaming services are supported?
Spotify today, including your Liked Songs. The same matching engine is built to extend to other services over time.
