dupeGuru is the free answer you will see in every Serato duplicates thread, and for good reason: it is open source, runs everywhere and has a music mode. But it works on files, not on your Serato library, and that difference decides what happens to your crates. Here is the honest comparison.
The short version: for cleaning up a folder of downloads before it goes anywhere near Serato, dupeGuru is free and good at it. For duplicates that are already in your Serato library, deleting files with a general tool leaves Serato pointing at files that no longer exist, so those entries go missing and any crate that held the deleted copy loses it.
Crate Cleaner reads your Serato library directly, archives the extra copies instead of deleting them, and moves their crate memberships to the copy you keep. The free plan archives 10 a day; unlimited is $9 a month. If you only have a few duplicates and time to fix crates by hand, dupeGuru plus care is enough.
